Abstract Submission Guideline
17th Asian Confederation of Physical Therapy (ACPT) Congress
Important Dates
Abstract Submission Opens October 13, 2025
Abstract Submission Deadline December 31, 2025
Notification of Acceptance January 21, 2026
Submission Process
- Authors must submit abstracts using the online submission form.
- At the time of submission, authors may indicate their preferred presentation type (oral, poster, or e-poster).
- All abstracts, regardless of preferred type, must be prepared using the same abstract format/template provided by the Congress.
Presentation Types
- Oral Presentation: 10 minutes + 2 minutes Q&A (format to be provided)
- Poster Presentation: Must follow designated format (to be provided); at least one author present during session
- e-Poster Presentation: 5-minute presentation on electronic screens (template to be provided)
- Important note:
- Due to thehigh number of submissions, not all requests for oral presentations can be accommodated. Abstracts that cannot be scheduled for an oral session may be offered the opportunity to present as a poster presentation, which is considered of equal scientific value and provides excellent opportunities for discussion and interaction. The final decision on the type of presentation assigned to each abstract rests with the Scientific Committee.

- Tables, figures, and references are not permitted in the abstract text
Authorship
- The presenting author must register for the Congress.
- Each author may submit more than one abstract, but only one may be accepted for oral presentation.
- All co-authors must approve the submission.
Review and Acceptance
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. While authors may indicate their preferred presentation type (oral or poster) during submission, the final assignment will be determined by the Committee based on the quality of the abstract, the balance of the scientific program, and logistical considerations.
Policies
- Abstracts may be withdrawn only by written request before March 31, 2026.
- No-shows will result in withdrawal of the abstract from the official program and proceedings.
- By submitting an abstract, authors agree that the content may be published in the Congress materials.
