Chapter 1: General Provisions
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms and Privacy Policy define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of participants
regarding registration, abstract submission, payment, and participation in the ACPT Congress 2026.
Article 2 (Services Provided)
The Congress Organizing Committee provides services including participant registration,
abstract submission and review, payment processing, and the dissemination of scientific and administrative information.
Article 3 (Personal Data Collected)
Personal data such as name, email address, affiliation, and country of residence are collected for
the purposes of registration, abstract submission, payment processing, and communication.
Article 4 (Purpose of Use)
Collected data will be used solely for:
- Managing congress participation and scientific program organization
- Processing payments and issuing receipts/invoices
- Communicating official notices and academic information related to the congress
Article 5 (Retention and Deletion)
Personal data will be securely stored for three (3) years from the date of collection
and then deleted in compliance with applicable regulations.
Article 6 (Provision to Third Parties)
Personal data may be shared only when necessary, including:
- With payment service providers for processing fees
- With partner academic societies/institutions collaborating in this congress
- With regulatory authorities when legally required
Article 7 (Changes and Notification)
The Organizing Committee may amend these Terms and Policy when necessary,
and any changes will be announced on the official website. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of such changes.
Article 8 (Participant Rights)
Participants may request to access, correct, or delete their personal data at any time.
Refusal to consent may limit registration or abstract submission.
